Hunger is number one on the list of the world’s top 10 health risks. It kills more people every year than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined. 98% of the world's undernourished people live in developing countries. Every five seconds, a child dies from hunger-related diseases.

Sustainable nutrition is the only effective way to insure the survival of the next generation. Children represent a disproportionate share of the poor in the United States; they are 24 percent of the total population, but 36 percent of the
poor population. In 2010, 16.4 million children, or 22 percent, were poor.

At GLODEV we are working to change this. We have plans to build sustainable water, food and sanitation systems around the world and right here in the USA. We also provide educational tools to help the poor help themselves through training and empowerment. Hand outs are not the solution! The poor need a HAND UP!

We are currently working to build sustainable micro-farms that are able to produce more in a 30'x50' area than the average 2 acre farm. There are many commercial micro-farms already producing mass amounts of greens and herbs for sale. We want to empower the families of the world to grow their own food and supplement their food needs.
